WoW Classic: the 20th Anniversary realms
Blizzard announcement — November 21, 2024
Blizzard introduced the World of Warcraft Classic 20th Anniversary Edition with fresh realms and a new level-60 journey. Fresh economies gave players another chance to begin together rather than enter an already established realm.
The announcement described PvE realms, faction-balanced PvP realms and fresh Hardcore realms. It also highlighted quality-of-life features including the Chronoboon Displacer and changes to PvP Honor Ranking.
Preserving the original announcement
The 2024 announcement listed Molten Core and Onyxia opening on December 12, Pacific time. These are archived announcement details, not upcoming Ebonlore events or a guild raid schedule.
